유아 연극 프로그램이 감성지능에 미치는 효과

초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of children theater programs on children’s emotional intelligence. A total of 32 children, aged from 3 to 4 years old. and among the participants, 16 of them were each assigned to experimental and comparison group. The children theater programs was conducted six times for the children in the experimental group, while educational activities based on the Nuri curriculum were implemented for the children in the comparison group. The collected data were analyzed using independent sample t-tests and analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) with SPSS 26.0. As a result of the study, first, there were no significant differences in self-awareness, self-regulation, empathy, and self-motivation ability according to age and gender of children. Second, it was found that the experimental group that conducted the children theater programs had a positive effect on improving emotional intelligence than the comparative group that conducted the general class. The implication of this study is that children theater programs have significant value as activities to improve children’s emotional intelligence.
