Educational Effects of Generative AI and No-code Vibe Coding Classes: An Analysis of Non-CS Students’ Project Outputs

초록

This study analyzed the learning outcomes of the course “Application of Generative Language AI”, designed to help non-computer science undergraduates quickly adapt to the corporate work environment after graduation. The course emphasized practical competencies demanded in industry, extending beyond simple chatbot use to include data analysis, task automation, no-code and vibe coding experiences, and ethical inquiry. Over a 15-week period, students engaged in step-by-step training in prompt engineering, data visualization, workflow automation, and no-code/vibe coding practices. In the final project, eight teams produced diverse outputs such as film scenarios and websites, online exhibitions, AI-based service applications, and digital detox brand designs. All projects were evaluated through a rubric measuring creativity, feasibility, and tool utilization, followed by comparative analysis. Three representative teams were further examined through qualitative analysis, revealing that students optimized prompts to enhance the completeness of creative outputs and integrated AI with no-code platforms to build industry-oriented prototypes. These results suggest that generative AI education can serve as an effective approach for strengthening workplace adaptability and practical competencies among non-major students.
