초록
A condition evaluation is conducted to inspect external defects and damages, ensuring the safety and maintenance of infrastructure. Based on this assessment, slope stability is thoroughly evaluated. However, evaluation criteria are determined by administrative entity in South Korea, leading to inconsistencies in standards. Therefore, a standardized slope management system is required. The Korea Authority of Land and Infrastructure Safety (KALIS), which is responsible for slope maintenance, is insufficient bases for factors and scoring standards. A systematic evaluation framework needs to be established, as some visual inspection-based factors include subjective judgment. In this study, reclassified administration standards based on field data were modified to improve the existing criteria. A total of 124 identical slopes within the study area were analyzed based on different evaluation standards. As a result, approximately 70–99% of slopes were reclassified into C or D grades compared to the KALIS evaluation, indicating a higher risk level. The subordinate rating of the same slopes appears to be due to differences in score distribution among evaluation factors. It suggests that the current condition evaluation criteria may not adequately reflect the actual slope risk. Therefore, improvements should comprehensively consider factor weightings in domestic and foreign standards, generality, and effectiveness based on collapse cases.
