明代 四民의 교양과 예술에 대한 인식
초록
This study focuses on the fact that the four classes people of the Ming Dynasty have begun to value culture in their daily lives, and aims to examine the four classes people's interest and admiration in culture and art such as calligraphy, paintings, antiques, and the four treasures of study. Calligraphy, paintings, antiques, and the four treasures of study were considered as a representation of high-quality material culture and noble spirit as surplus materials far from the problem of survival. For this reason, the minority elite has been enjoying it, but the situation that the scope of the enjoyment class has begun to expand is confirmed in the Ming Dynasty. The traces of the Ming Dynasty's four classes people's devotion to culture and art can be found in Encyclopedias for Daily Use. However, the problem is that the culture and art contained in Encyclopedias for Daily Use are not those of the real aristocratic culture. The purpose is to feel satisfied by just enjoying the high-end culture, and accepting the profound and deep culture of the noble people was not an object of interest to the four classes people. The low-level culture contained in Encyclopedias for Daily Use, the four classes people's sense of culture, and the aesthetic view of art began to speak of contemporary life, destroying the authority and hierarchy of high-end culture. It was a way for the four classes people to recognize the world and exist, and it became the basis for creating a completely different sense of solidarity and community from the upper class society. More research is needed on this because it is possible to understand the diversity of the Ming Dynasty society and to microscopically look at the culture that was hidden by mainstream discourse.
