초록

This critical essay aims at the understanding recently reinterpretation in the slavery system. Specially I focused foods and its social stratum and ecology in the antebellum American South. American Historians have argued that slave’s nutrition status and whether it’s good or bad. But I could not agree in these arguments because historians have thetically selected original sources such as oral and reminiscence, official public documents. Therefore I have collected and surveyed all the sources and finally arrived, in food’s supply in this slavery system, in the unimaginable worst conditions.
