챗봇 활용을 통한 범죄통제의 기대효과에 관한 연구

초록

This study is about the expected effects on crime control through police use of chatbot. The use of chatbot is currently gradually expanding in public institutions as well as private institutions. The police are also showing active interest in the use of chatbot, such as implementing a project to improve the chatbot currently in use, ‘Polbot’. Therefore, this study studied the expected effects that could occur when the police, an organization directly related to public safety, uses chatbot to protect citizens from crime. For the study, we explained how crimes have changed compared to the past and analyzed the chatbot technology currently in use and the history of chatbot. Afterwards, the effectiveness of the chatbot system currently being used in police agencies was analyzed through research in domestic and foreign organizations, and in India. Finally, in terms of the expected effects of crime control through the use of chatbot, first, increasing efficiency of community oriented policing, second, reduction of psychological burden on reporters through non-face-to-face reporting, third, provision of crime information and safety information using location-based information, Fourth, data accumulation to respond to new crimes was presented.
