군(軍) 조직 내 리더 코칭에 관한 탐색적 연구

초록

This study aims to explore existing research on leader coaching within military organizations and to suggest directions for future research and practical applications. Seventeen studies published in South Korea between 2000 and 2024 were analyzed for their general characteristics and findings. Coaching-related research began in 2007 and expanded notably after 2015, resulting in 12 journal articles and 5 master’s theses. Methodologically, the studies included 6 qualitative, 5 quantitative, and 6 experimental designs focused on program development. Thematically, 5 studies addressed policy and system improvements, 5 examined relationships between coaching behaviors and other variables, and 7 evaluated coaching programs and their effectiveness. Future research should reinforce the theoretical foundations of leadership and coaching, employ diverse methodologies, promote a coaching culture, broaden participant groups, and encourage collaboration between military and civilian coaching fields.
