초록

the existing studies, as part of the Korea Research Foundation's Foundations of Buddhism project, there have been cases of collecting and translating prefaces and introductions to classical texts, but they tend to include only a few Buddhist-related texts and need to be supplemented. The prefatory remarks written by the intellectuals of the time on the production, distribution, and reception of Buddhist literature in the Joseon Dynasty are invaluable for restoring the academic, religious, and cultural discourse of medieval intellectuals. We would like to raise the need for a comprehensive collection, translation, commentary, and explanation commentary.
