한국어 문법-운율 접면 연구의 동향과 전망

초록

This paper reviews previous studies on the interface between Korean grammar and prosody, focusing on phonological phrases, accentual phrases, and intonational phrases. The review shows that Korean prosody research has developed from impressionistic descriptions into theoretically and methodologically diversified studies since the 1990s. Previous studies have shown that prosodic units are closely related to syntactic structure, pitch patterns, clause boundaries, sentence types, speech acts, and modal meanings. However, the relationship between prosody and grammar has not yet been fully explained in an integrated way. Future research should expand its scope and methods to explore the relationship between various grammatical phenomena and prosody.
