보호관찰 처분 청소년의 온라인도박 경험에 관한 연구

초록

The purpose of this study is to find out the experience of participating in online gambling of adolescents who have been placed on probation. Investigations on participation in online gambling by adolescents who have been placed on probation are insufficient. Against this background, by gender, age, by type of crime currently under probation, and by level of gambling problem, the onset, the route of access to online gambling and the process of using it, the degree of awareness of the illegality of gambling, and secondary crime participation experience, and stress caused by online gambling were investigated. This study conducted a survey on the past online gambling participation experiences targeting 189 adolescents under probation across the country. The survey was conducted by probation officers in charge of juveniles at probation offices across the country with the assistance of the Ministry of Justice. As a result of the survey, 113 out of 189 people (about 60%) were found to have participated in online gambling in the past, and it was found that they first started online gambling at the average age of 15.4 years. 84.9% of 113 adolescents were included in the gambling problem group and the risk group. In addition, specific contents and policy suggestions were dealt with in detail.
