대학생의 교양 글쓰기 학습몰입과 수업만족도 관계－과제가치의 매개효과를 중심으로－

초록

In this study, we analyzed the mediating effect of task value to understand the impact of learner engagement on course satisfaction in the liberal arts writing curriculum. For this purpose, an online survey was conducted targeting liberal arts writing students at D University in Seoul for the 2023-1 semester. The data collected from the survey encompassed learning immersion, task value, and class satisfaction. Consequently, first, the research revealed a noteworthy and beneficial impact of the learner’s learning immersion on task value. This suggests that the greater the learner’s active engagement in learning activities and their concentration on task resolution, the more they appreciate the significance of the tasks introduced by the instructor. Second, it was discovered that learners’ perception of the task’s value had a profoundly positive impact on their class satisfaction. When students acknowledged that the assignments were both captivating and beneficial in connection to the lecture material, their satisfaction levels significantly increased. Third, it was founded that learner’s perception of task value perfectly bridged the gap between learning immersion and class satisfaction. In light of these findings it serves as a valuable tool for educators aiming to conduct effective writing classes and enhance their comprehension of student’s needs. It holds great significance as a foundational resource for instructors seeking to optimize their college writing courses offering valuable insights to enhance the overall quality of writing education.
