| dc.description.abstract | 본 연구에서 저자는 최근 12개년의 시계열 패널자료를 활용하여 가구빈곤이 노인의 생활만족도에 미치는 영향을 건강수준(불건강 여부)의 매개효과 분석을 통하여 살펴보았다. 빈곤과 건강수준, 그리고 생활만족도 사이의 유의미한 관계에도 불구하고, 기존 연구에서는 이들 사이의 구조적인 관계에 대한 종단적 분석이 부족하였다. 이에 본 연구는 노인의 빈곤과 소득수준이 생활만족도에 미치는 종단적 영향뿐만 아니라 건강변수의 매개효과를 함께 규명하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 분석결과는 건강수준(불건강여부) 및 성인자녀와의 동거 여부는 여타 인구사회학적 변인들을 통제한 이후에도 노인의 경제적 조건이 생활만족도에 미치는 장기적 영향을 매개하는 주요 변인임을 확인하였다. 이는 노인의 삶의 질 또는 생활만족도를 향상시키는데 있어 경제적 지원에만 비중을 두는 현행 노인복지정책에 변화가 필요함을 알릴 수 있는 계기가 될 수 있으며, 노인의 생활만족도를 향상시키기 위해서는 비경제적 부문에서의 사회복지적 노력 및 건강을 증진시킬 수 있는 다양한 정책이 필요하다고 판단된다. | - |
