South Korean, known as The power of cosmetics. Korean cosmetics and skin care products are popular all over the world, and one of the important purposes of traveling to Korea is to buy cosmetics. Tourist destinations like MyongDong, Most of cosmetics stores mainly use mainland Chinese as Chinese product introductions, and there are still many mistakes. Which makes tourists form Chinese language circle, even Mainland Chinese, difficult to understand. If the introduction terms can be selected properly, it will certainly make the introduction and purchase of cosmetics more convenient. This paper mainly refers to simple Chinese in S.Korean cosmetics store and make a comparative study of cosmetics terms in Taiwan and mainly China’s shopping website. Many cosmetic terms of Taiwan and mainland China are interchangeable like “Hufupin” in mainland china and “Baoyangpin” in Taiwan, however, this paper is still the most popular local term and the Chinese translation in S.Korean cosmetics stores as the scope of this study. Most cosmetics words in S.Korean are transliterated loanwords, whereas most of them in Taiwan or mainland are paraphrases. Of the eighty-four words, there are only five loanwords: 润丝、慕斯、啫喱、BB霜、CC霜, while forty-two words are different. It is passable to understand the general product names and differences in S.Korean cosmetics and the difference of cosmetics terms between Taiwan and mainland China that offers a reference for general consumers, researchers, translators. In this paper, some products or newer product names are not included, as well as functions (e.g. moisturizing, wrinkle resistance, etc.). I hope that in the future we can supplement and further analyze them on the basis of this paper.-
