Abstract

From the past to the present day, not only the manufacturing industry but also the construction industry have been playing major roles for the economic growth of Korea. In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, construction industry will play an important role because it is directly connected to the convenience and safety of our lives. Quality management is essential for producing superior quality. Uncovering quality management excellent companies and distributing good cases in the field of construction could give an opportunity to the growth of our industrial economy. The purpose of this study is to examine the importance of quality and current status of quality management activities of construction companies, and to examine how these activities are recognized through rewards from the government.
