- Abstract
- 이 연구는 경찰 PR 실무자들과 기자들이 형성하고 있는 언론관계성에 대한 경찰 PR 실무자들과 기자들의 인식 차이를 경험적으로 검증하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 경찰을 취재하고 있거나 취재한 경험이 있는 전국의 기자 102명과 PR 업무를 담당하고 있거나 PR 업무 경험이 있는 전국의 경찰관 101명을 대상으로 자료를 수집 분석하였다. 분석결과, 경찰 PR 실무자들과 기자들은 언론관계성을 형성하는 차원 중 헌신성에서 가장 큰 차이를 보였고, 체면과 인정에서도 차이를 보였다. 신뢰성에서는 경찰 PR 실무자들과 기자들이 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았지만 경찰 PR 실무자들뿐만 아니라 기자들도 긍정적이었다. 이러한 결과는 경찰 PR 실무자들에게 기자들은 공적인 부분을 더 우선시하는 집단으로 인식되고 있기 때문인 것으로 판단된다. 반면에 만족성과 상호통제에서는 경찰 PR 실무자들과 기자들 모두 부정적이었고 서로 간의 차이도 없는 것으로 나타났다.
