Effect of catalyst size and shape on methane conversion to hydrogen in reforming process has beenexperimentally studied. Various size and shape of commercial Ni based catalyst were packed in the 650ml reactor andmethane gas was introduced into the reactor at various isothermal conditions between 600-750℃. The conversion is inkinetic limited region at relatively low temperature and it moves to mass transfer limited region at relatively hightemperature. At constant temperature condition, the larger the external surface area, the higher the conversion would be.-
