dc.description.abstractThis paper analyzes the sentence pattern of measure words of human organs + verb taking such measure words as a theoretical basis. The contents are as follows: The research objective is to generalize the features of syntax, semantics and pragmatics of two-part allegorical sayings with the pattern of measure words of human organs + verb based on the theory of measure words of human organs. The object of the research is the complement of two-part allegorical sayings with the pattern of measure words of human organs + verb. The research focuses on the analysis of quantity complement, time and place complement, consequential complement, and directional complement in the two-part allegorical sayings which include the measure words of human organs. The purpose of the research is to reveal the main patterns of such two-part allegorical sayings, and then further comprehend the general semantic formation theory of them.-
