汉语和韩语的隐喻映射现象对比研究 -以“中年”的概念隐喻为中心-

Abstract

‘Middle age’ in both Chinese and Korean is an expression of a certain stage or period of life, and belongs to the subordinate category of the concept of time. For each of us, we must go through the ‘middle age’ life stage. Therefore, the cognitive and metaphorical way in which Chinese and Korean understand the concept of ‘middle age’ is reflected in specific language expressions, and what differences are there, that is the motivation for this thesis to study. This thesis will use Image Schema as the theoretical framework, the multi-source cognitive mechanism of ‘life’ metaphors as the basis, use the encyclopedic semantic view, the highlighting in metaphors, and the abstract concepts of Chinese and the metaphorical mapping phenomenon of the Korean ‘middle age’ and the universality and particularity of existence are comparatively analyzed. Pointing out the ‘inside-outside of the container’, the ‘process of reaching the destination’, and the ‘process of leaping over obstacles’ to realize the metaphorical projection of the ‘middle age’ in the life stage, and provide people with the abstract goal concept ‘middle age’. Cognitive understanding provides rich and specific source concepts.
