Neonatal uterine prolapse is a very rare disease that is often associated with congenital spinal malformation, premature birth or breech presentation. The prolapsed uterus can be infected or inflamed so it requires immediate reduction. The treatments range from non-invasive methods of simple manual reduction or using pessary to surgical methods of suturing of vaginal wall or temporary labial fusion. We report the first case of uterine prolapse in a 10-day-old very low birth weight infant who was treated successfully with manual reduction and strapping of lower extremities in Korea.-
