Abstract
In this study, a plan to improve the system was presented through an analysis of laws related to public survey performance evaluation, business support systems, and expert interview results. As a result of the study, it was found that the relevant laws do not clearly define the subjects of public survey performance evaluation. As a way to clearly define the subjects of performance evaluation, it is possible to consider presenting subjects or exclusions, and a plan to operate a call center that can provide consultation, management, statistics, and monitoring was presented. The performance evaluation compliance rate in the first half of 2023 is about 25%, so it is necessary to improve the compliance rate. In addition, the volume of evaluations is concentrated in the fourth quarter, which can reduce work efficiency and cause problems in the project. Therefore, the activation of the intermediate evaluation system is necessary. It is difficult to accurately identify the location of the project in the current business support system, and the system needs to be improved so that reference to the existing project database is possible in order to improve the efficiency of plan writing. It is judged that an educational plan will be needed to improve the understanding of those in charge in order to activate the public survey performance evaluation system in the future. © 2024 Korean Society of Surveying.
