| dc.description.abstract | 캐릭터 개발은 ‘조선통신사’브랜드화 전략의 기본단계로서 캐릭터를활용한 다양한 문화상품 및 콘텐츠 개발을 통해 ‘조선통신사’를 국제적으로 홍보하고 국가수익을 창출할 수 있는 기반을 마련하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 친근함, 독창성, 의미성, 조형성, 활용성을 내포하도록 디자인 계획을 수립하여, 음양오행 사상의 ‘목화토금수(木火土金水)’의 관상학적 특징을 바탕으로 캐릭터의 형태를 시각화하였으며, 조선통신사의 고증된 자료와 동양의 오방색(다섯 방위를 상징하는 색. 동쪽은 청색, 서쪽은 흰색, 남쪽은 적색, 북쪽은 흑색, 가운데는 황색)을 응용하여 캐릭터의 색상을 설계하였다. | - |
