| dc.description.abstract | Today's grocery customers prefer high quality commodities, in consideration of freshness, production environment, sanitary conditions, and distribution histories. This is obvious because food safety has become one of the most important issues in everyone's life today, as their quality of life improves. Accordingly, in order for producers and distributors to guarantee an adequate level of safety and sanitary conditions of their commodities for their customers, various food safety management technologies and systems have been implemented. Among others for this purpose, RFID sensor tags technology has recently been gaining attention. In this study we compared all the representative models and technologies for food safety management that include RFID sensor tags, and analyzed the practical usability of RFID sensor tags, by means of empirical experiments. In addition, we suggested future research issues in promoting the use of RFID sensor tags in the food distribution industry. | - |
