- Abstract
- The chief purpose of my writing is to prove that the identities and evils of neo-liberalism are represented in Death of a Salesman and A Family. Even though these two texts are written in revised capitalism era, they represent neo-liberalism characteristics. In order to study this distinguished phenomenon, I firstly would like to investigate the history and improvement of capitalism, in particular, the two types of capitalism. By doing these process, the particular identities and evils of neo-liberal capitalism will be unveiled.
Secondly, I would like to study specific characters of Death of a Salesman and A Family and prove the neo-liberal characteristics from the two texts. The families of those two texts very seemingly represent the distinguishable identities and evils of neo-liberal capitalism society, so I would study what are the causes and effects are represented in the texts. In conclusion, I would suggest possible solutions to be considerable which would find the future path for a better capitalism than neo-liberal one.
