| dc.description.abstract | 본 논문은 북한주민에 대한 상충적 태도와 통일인식에의 영향을 실증적으로 분석한다. 구체적으로, 북한주민 일반과 그 부분집합으로서 북한이탈주민에 대한 태도의 차이는 어떻게 발생하며, 이러한 차이가 적극적 통일인식에 어떠한 영향을 주는지 살펴본다. 한국사회의 북한주민에 대한 복합적․이중적 인식, 특히 북한주민일반과 탈북주민에 대한 인식의 차이는 현실의 문제이며, 현재와 미래의 통일정책 설계에도 중요한 함의를 제공한다. 본 논문은 정치심리학의 상충적 유권자 이론에 주목하고 이를 바탕으로 북한주민에 대한 인식의 차이와 그 영향을 상충적 태도(ambivalent attitudes)의 틀로 구체화한다. 분석 결과, 이념적으로 덜 경도될수록, 교육수준이 높을수록 북한주민에 대한 상충적 태도를 보이는 경향이 나타났다. 북한주민에 대해 상충적 태도가 강한 응답자일수록 통일이 필요하다고 답할 확률이 더 높았다. 실증분석을 위해 순차적로짓회귀분석(ordered logit regression analysis)과 이분산프로빗회귀분석(heteroskedasitc probit regression analysis)이 활용되었다. 이분산프로빗분석은 중심회귀식과 분산모형을 동시에 추정하며, 이는 통일필요성에 대한 응답확률의 분포가 개개인의 상충적 태도에 따라 일정치 않게 나타나는 이분산의 문제를 모형화하여 해결한다. | - |
