- Abstract
- The use of file sharing systems has increased with the development of networks and the increase in the quantity of shared data. Users of a file sharing system have difficulty finding a desired file quickly because a complex directory structure must be searched. Furthermore, file sharing systems have security vulnerabilities because users can access all the files in a directory. In this paper, we propose a method for configuring personalized directories. The directory configuring system can be used for integrating sub-directories or filtering out parts of a directory to meet user requirements. Moreover, access permissions can be set to control access to files that require security. For this, we describe operations and algorithms for configuring personalized directories. The proposed method allows users to access files in the personalized directory conveniently and strengthens the security of file sharing systems that manage a large number of files.
