| dc.description.abstract | Cultural competence is a critical skill for social work professionals navigating the complexities of a diverse world. Despite its importance, practitioners express low self-efficacy when applying cultural competence skills. Conducting a systematic review, this study aims to identify the common approaches to teaching cultural competence in social work bachelor's and master's programs. Results categorize the literature into proposed models for cultural competence education and specific techniques for teaching. This study sheds light on the challenges and opportunities in fostering cultural competence among social work students and emphasizes the imperative role this skill plays in promoting racial equality and social justice. | - |
