| dc.description.abstract | We describe the diagnosis and treatment of necrotizing sialometaplasia (NSM) on the hard palate without surgical excision. A 27-year-old female visited the hospital with complaint of right-side hard palate swelling and pain. We diagnosed this hard palate lesion as NSM based on results of biopsy and treated it with conservative treatment. We now report the experience in diagnosing and treating NSM with a detailed review of histologic results. | - |
