| dc.description.abstract | Artificial intelligence (AI) in education has rapidly increased in recent years. In particular, as generative AI tools are gaining popularity, it has been paid attention to their potential to enhance educational effectiveness by personalizing the learning experience and providing real-time feedback to students. However, concerns and debates remain about using generative AI tools in education. This study aims to examine whether using generative AI, especially ChatGPT, in entrepreneurship education improves students' self-efficacy and interest, consequently leading to entrepreneurship as a career choice. This study adopted the social cognitive career theory to explore the cognitive process of university students' entrepreneurial intentions and goal selection. We surveyed college students who enrolled in an entrepreneurship course and used generative AI tools for classwork. As a result of the study, it was found that AI used in entrepreneurship classes increased students' self-efficacy and interest in entrepreneurship, leading to entrepreneurial career intention. This research will provide valuable insights to educators and practitioners about using generative AI in education. Copyright © 2023 Joo Yeon Park. | - |
