2014 First-trimester ultrasound forum from the Korean Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Abstract

A first-trimester ultrasound scan has become an essential part of antenatal care. The Korean Society of Ultrasoundin Obstetrics and Gynecology held a first-trimester ultrasound forum on April 5, 2014. The forum aimed to presentan updated review of the literature on the topic of first-trimester ultrasound in specific lectures and to host a paneldiscussion on several important issues regarding first-trimester scans. The forum provided evidence- and consensusbasedbest practice patterns for obstetricians in Korea. Here, we report the review and checklists presented from theforum.
