| dc.description.abstract | 본 연구는 타이 반도의 역사적 항구도시인 태국 방콕의 도시확장 특성인 다핵도시로의 변화과정을 교통ㆍ운송체계의 결과물로 이해하고, 그 확장특성을 탐구한다. 이를 통해 방콕의 도시확장은 단계별로 건설된 하천ㆍ운하와 요새-사찰-시장의 원도심, 항구와 연결된 철도ㆍ트램과공공-상업-성당/교회 커뮤니티의 구도심, 그리고 고가철도ㆍ지하철의 신도심과 그 거점개발로주도된 다핵도시로의 변화임을 확인하였다. 이러한 방콕의 도시확장 과정은 (1)단일중심 항구로부터 광역도시권 내 개발거점들의 다발적 성장과 하천 동쪽에 집중된 도시개발의 불균형, (2)대중교통체계와 맞물려 진행된 민간주도의 상업 및 호텔기능의 신도심 개발거점, (3)공중플랫폼중심의 기능적 보행 중심공간의 재정의라는 특성들을 보여주고 있다. 본 연구결과는 방콕의 광역도시권 내에서 교통체계가 주도하는 원ㆍ구도심과 신도심의 단절, 그리고 교통거점들 간의 물리적인 보행연계라는 도시설계 과제를 확인해준다. | - |
