- Abstract
- Many researchers have studied similarity measures theoretically and their application to effective decision-making techniques for problems involving uncertainty. In this paper, we analyze the national competitiveness in global semiconductor markets using a similarity measure defined by Choquet expected utility comparing national export utilities to an economic preference model and provide useful information with analysis for establishing policies based on experimented results. For practical application, the similarity of the proposed economic preference model is compared with trade export volumes of the nine most influential countries in the semiconductor field from 2010 to 2020. In particular, the comparative analysis of each graphical representation in the experimented results provides useful objective information based on the concept of similarity measures for economic policy decision-makers.
