Abstract
We can say that a university, as an antinomic space to guarantee various activities, has a system similar to a city or a settlement. Like a city or a settlement, a university has a unified form of a composition level to render relationships between a unit (element, house, and college) and the whole (a city, a settlement, and a campus). This thesis aims to investigate the unified form rendering relationships between a unit and the whole in comparison with the theory of collective form presented by Maki Fumihiko at the Washington University as a methodology to show relationships between a unit and the whole. In particular, among 3 forms about such collective form, this thesis intends to investigate the group form and the campus transformation from the group form in view of the notion of linkage as an indispensible manipulation to build the group form, to find out the meaning and then, to provide a new clue of campus plan on the basis of the investigation. I.e. This study find out campus planning method of ‘hide and seek(알른거림)’ and ‘flexible order(낭창낭창한 질서)’ to guarantee various activities.
