In Kyeongsang dialect, there is a distinction between '-na' and '-no' as interrogative clause enders. It is known that in this dialect '-na' is used in polarity questions, and '-no', in information questions. But there have been few studies on how this rule applies to echo and rhetorical questions. This research examines the multi-faceted characteristics of echo and rhetorical questions in Kyeongsang dialect, focusing on question/indefinite expressions. We propose that '-no' is preferred to '-na' in rhetorical questions, which are found to behave in a parallel fashion to the canonical information questions. This means that the expressions that function either as question or indefinite ones occur together with the interrogative clause ender '-no' and are then construed as information-seeking question expressions rather than indefinite ones. It refutes the hypothesis that information question expressions in rhetorical questions are simply indefinite ones.-
