dc.description.abstractThe universality and importance of using euphemism are already concerned by scholars. Early scholars mostly studied euphemisms from taboo phenomenon, recent research perspective is wide from the study of semantic, composition, rhetoric, culture angle fruitful. Based on the previous study and try to make a concrete analysis of the composition methods of euphemism. The most authoritative material selections from the euphemism dictionary; In 1996 Zhang Gong gui editor of "Chinese euphemism dictionary", The dictionary of euphemisms from the angle of the content is divided into 13 categories. In the sexual euphemisms, The most representative is a euphemism for prostitutes, So this thesis tries to express euphemism for prostitutes and in-depth analysis. There are lots of prostitutes, but the object representing the prostitute is taboo word. There are so many euphemisms for prostitutes, cause of shyness and hide psychology of people. Through the study of euphemism said prostitutes, To further our understanding of Chinese national culture and Chinese psychology plays a certain role.-
