In this article, the object of 'Han Sarang', children's literary magazine issued from the Korean school in Peru, and it's thematic consciousness, are studied related to the Association of Korean residents. The themes of 'Han Sarang' are realm and dream of childhood, Agape and family love, nostalgia towards their homeland and ethnic awareness, and looking for one's identity through hybrid culture. In detail, the literature in 'Han Sarang' presents conflicts with local people, racism and ethnic discrimination, strange hybrid culture, and different values. By covering these issues, children and youth in immigrant families develop their ethnic awareness and universal value, based on a sense of belonging in their family, school and nation. In Han Sarang, an open view of the world is depicted as hybrism and glocalization from an immigrant's perspective. As the only official publication of the Korean community in Peru, Han Sarang is a valuable cultural point to cherish the Korean identity and ethnic awareness, functioning as a spiritual bridge in its Korean community. The same meaning can be found from other children's literary magazine such as Kum Namu and Sat Beul, issued by the Korean schools in Brazil and Argentina. In conclusion, publication of Han Sarang by the children and youth in South America is the indication of their future image as a global citizen. It also suggests a textual meaning to Korea in which the society is becoming multi-cultural.-
